Multiple Teams · The 1st Kenny Kiffmeyer Award Presented

The family and friends of Kenny Kiffmeyer presented the first Kenny Kiffmeyer Foundation Award.  This award was created to keep the memory and legacy of Kenny alive.  Kenny was a 1974 Mt. Healthy graduate, fooball player, and a coach.  He coached football at Mt. Healthy for and the surrounding areas for 40 years.  Kenny passed away in 2018 from ALS at the age of 62.  The award is based on the traits that Kenny displayed as a leader and a coach – passion, loyalty, and the didication to shaping the lives of young men.  This award will be given annually to a football coach in the Mt. Healthy School District fro the next 5 years.   This year’s honorees are Tyler Barrett and Marquaz Nelson.

On behalf of the Athletic Department, Coach Tyler Barrett, and Coach Marquaz Nelson, a huge thank you to the Kiffmeyers and the Kiffmeyer Foundation for their continued support of Mt. Healthy Athletics.
