Girls Varsity Bowling · Girls Bowling Team Rolls to 1st Place

The girls bowling team rolls to a tie for first place in the SWOC.  The Lady Owls defeated the first place Harrison Wildcats Thursday.  Senior Maya Floyd came through in the clutch by doubling and an getting an eight count to seal the win for the Owls.  The team showed up big!

Prior to Thursdays victory, the Lady Owls defeated Talawanda and Edgewood to get to the top of the standings.  The Owls beat Talawanda 1685-1058.  Floyd led the way with a 387 and Stevenson posted a 324.   In the 1551-1253 win over Edgewood,  Stevenson led the way with 316, Senior Autumn Carter posted  304, and Floyd scored a 301.

The team now shares the top spot with Harrison and Northwest at 3-1.  The Owls are scheduled to face Harrison again Tuesday at Harrison Bowl.
