Girls Bowling Strikes Again

The girls bowling team strikes again by winning both matches last week.  The team defeated Goshen High School and Wyoming High School to improve to 14-2 overall.  The team currently sits in second place in the SWOC with a 9-2 record. Boys Basketball Streaking

The Owls boys basketball team is on a six game winning streak.  Here’s a recap… Defeated Withrow 60-55.  DJ Brewton led the team with 22 points on 8 of 14 shooting.  CJ Rhodes poured in 17 points. A few updates on some of our alumni… David Montgomery was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week…24 carries-169 yards….5th best rookie rushing performance in Iowa State history. 2016 Hall of Fame Inductees

The following Mt. Healthy alumni were recently inducted into Mt. Healthy’s Hall of Fame. Stephen Butler (2004):  Two-sport athlete (wrestling/football).  All-League for both sports.  Sectional/District Champion in wrestling.  5th place finish in State Tournament.  Holds 8 wrestling records.  Once recorded 24 tackles in a football game.  Played college football at Urbana University.
