Girls Bowling Making History

The girls bowling team qualified for the District for the first time in school history.  The top eight teams advance, and the team finished 7th. The Owls will be bowling  Thursday March 2 at BeaverVu Lanes in Beavercreek, Ohio. The Owls finished the regular season 15-3 overall and 10-2 in the conference. Go Owls!

Girls Bowling Strikes Again

The girls bowling team strikes again by winning both matches last week.  The team defeated Goshen High School and Wyoming High School to improve to 14-2 overall.  The team currently sits in second place in the SWOC with a 9-2 record. Boys Basketball Streaking

The Owls boys basketball team is on a six game winning streak.  Here’s a recap… Defeated Withrow 60-55.  DJ Brewton led the team with 22 points on 8 of 14 shooting.  CJ Rhodes poured in 17 points. Defeated Hamilton 55-50.  Brewton led a balanced Owl attack with 14 points.  Rhodes added 12.  Carlos Weathers contributed

Alumni Accomplishments

A few updates on some of our alumni… David Montgomery was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week…24 carries-169 yards….5th best rookie rushing performance in Iowa State history.
