SWOC Basketball Honors

🏀⛹🏽⛹🏼‍♀️👏🏼Congratulations to our All SWOC Basketball Honorees!!   BOYS BASKETBALL ⛹🏽Iyahsu Adams (1st Team)   🏀Finished 2nd in the league in scoring (17.8ppg) and 4th in assists (3.1 apg). ⛹🏽Namaray McCalley (1st Team) 🏀 Led the league in scoring (18.7 ppg) and steals (3.4 spg), 2nd in assists (3.9 apg).  ⛹🏽Jaron Kelley (Honorable Mention) 🏀 Led the league in rebounding

Academic Excellence

Shout out to our student-athletes who are getting it done academically.   It’s been a hard year for our students who have been working remotely.  Many of our students are meeting the challenge.  The following student-athletes earned a 3.5 GPA or higher in the 2nd quarter grading period! Girls Basketball Senior Parent Night

Tonight is Senior Parent Night for our girls basketball team. Catch the JV girls in action at 6:00 followed by Senior Recognitions, and varsity around 7:30.  We will be recognizing our Lady Owls Breanna Clemons, Sha’Diamond Zanders and Harrison Seniors Ella Pittman and Ava Tombragel. Lady Owls defeat the Falcons

Congratulations to the girl’s basketball team who beat Aiken Monday evening.  The Owls jumped out to an early first half lead and never looked back.   🏀Freshman Natalie Yelling scored 16 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, and had 3 steals. 🏀Freshman LaDasia Carter added 7 points, 4 steals, and 2 rebounds. 🏀Senior Breanna Clemons scored 18 points, recorded

Lady Owls Win Big

The Lady Owls basketball team defeated Withrow 73-18.  Sophomore Kennedi Givens led the way with 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.  Givens connected on 7 of her 10 shot attempts.  Senior Breanna Clemons scored 15 points, had 4 steals and 4 rebounds.  Junior Noel Weathers added 4 blocks and 14 points off the bench.

Lady Owls Squeak Past Hughes

The Lady Owls defeated Hughes Big Red 41-39 in a nail biter.  Junior Noel Weathers and Freshman McKenzie Givens led the way with 10 points each.  Givens was 5 of 8 from the field and grabbed 5 rebounds, 2 steals and a block.  Weathers added 7 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 steals.  Sophomore Whitney Henschen
