Student-Athlete Scholars

Congratulations to our high school and junior high school student-athletes who earned a 3.5 or higher GPA for 1st quarter!  Mt. Healthy is extremely proud of our students’ efforts in and out of the classroom.  Thanks to all of the teachers and staff who continue to set high expectations for all of our young people.

Owl’s Nest Award Winners

A huge shout out to our fall high school STUDENT-ATHLETES who were chosen by staff members to receive an Owl’s Nest Award.  This honor is given to Mt.Healthy students who demonstrate outstanding Owl PRIDE.  Our recipients are from a variety of sports. Some members of the Mount Healthy High School football program cleaned up Hamilton Avenue and the main business district by clearing the trash from the streets.

NFL’s Heath Gives Back

Mt. Healthy graduate and current Houston Texan, Joel Heath came home to give back to the community who gave so much to him.  Yesterday, Heath offered a free camp to youth footballers who are in 4th through 8th grades.  Among the many volunteers and coaches was Donavon Clark of the San Diego (now Los Angeles)

Joel Heath Youth Football Camp

Joel Heath, 2011 Mt. Owls Soar in All-Star Game

Last Saturday Mt. Healthy had three football players attend the Ohio High School All Star game.  Trayvon Wilburn, Justice Waller, and Bryan Cook represented the Owls well.  Cook led the way defensively, and was named Most Valuable Player of the game.  He becomes the first player in school history to be name MVP of an all
